Overview
Commercial drivers operating vehicles over 10,000 pounds, transporting passengers, or carrying hazardous materials are required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to maintain a current Medical Examiner's Certificate. We perform DOT physicals on-site, issue the MEC same-day when you pass, and submit your results electronically as required.

Frequently Asked
Valid ID, your CDL (if you have one), a list of current medications with prescriber details, glasses or contacts if you wear them, hearing aids if applicable, and any relevant medical records (sleep study, cardiac, diabetes, etc.).
Most DOT physicals take 30 to 45 minutes. The Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) is issued the same day if you pass.
